FAQ

North Keys is not a real estate brokerage, we do not hire realtors, nor is any member of our team a real estate agent or broker. We deal with off market real estate because we understand the priorities of our sellers.

We are able to provide flexible terms, and can be accommodating to any specific or individual situation each of our sellers may be in. As a seller you do not need to worry about renovating the property, having people walk through your house, or any other personal concern of yours. We are here to help you!

The seller does not incur any fees or expenses when selling through North Keys. We do not take commission so you will receive the full closing value of the property. In some circumstances we are even able to pay for the closing costs associated with the transaction.

North Keys will make you a no-obligation offer on your property. You will have an opportunity to accept or decline the offer. If you decline the offer, you will not be locked in to any terms or conditions and you can proceed to sell your property through any other means.

We operate primarily in the Ottawa area, however we also service clients throughout Eastern Ontario.

We will provide you with a fair offer on your property based on the condition of your home, the estimated required repair costs, current market conditions, and by comparing your property to other recently sold homes in your area.

We do not make offers on properties currently listed with a real estate agent. If your listing and agreement with your realtor expire, we are happy to make an offer at that point in time. Part of our value proposition is not having commissions or fees, but if we made an offer while you were under contract with your agent, you would still have to pay their commissions.

A cash offer means that we close on the property with funds in the form of a bank draft or wire transfer. It also means that our offers are not conditional upon financing.

Depending on the location and condition of the property, we will either renovate and resell the property, or rent it out to tenants.

While North Keys deal with private real estate transactions, meaning real estate agents are not involved, both parties are required to retain a lawyer.

We are here to help you and will not request or expect you to clean or repair your home prior to us visiting the property. This will extend all of the way through the transaction process. We are able to make an offer on the property in its current condition, and you can leave as much or as little as you want to in your house upon closing day.
